We normally push a battery to around 10 days. I converted the various detectors to their own batteries which will last for years but the original pull a couple days out of the battery. Our frig does not have a fan and have replaced a couple lights with LEDs which help. The one improvement for this year was a new radio, I hooked up a cut out switch to shut it down from even the clock display (don't use a clock on vacation). We usually use the trolling motor battery for a day to get the main charged at Hickocks

Were you able to find

a separate battery operated propane detector? I couldn't find one. My smoke and co2 detectors run on small separate batteries.

we bought the camper. Figured out all the detectors were running down the battery and was determined to camp without a generator and not have to drag a battery over for charging on a daily basis.

we see one we like we start talking to the owners. Everyone without exception has always been more than willing to give advise and even give us a tour inside. Good luck.

One thing to keep in mind about popups - a slide-out for the eating area gives you tons more room. We bought our popup used & hadn't been looking very long - it was just a fluke that we found one with a slide-out. Thank god we did, because I don't know what
