FCP Area - So Cold You Can Skate!

Hi fellow campers, from Lake Placid. Kate and I are here enjoying a week of luxury before heading back over
to Fish Creek Pond.

It would appear that its been so cold

     in ADK land (high of only 78-80F ), that the ice has
re-appeared! Here is some proof from Saturday when

     we went skating outside...



Not bad style huh? I was constantly looking down to ensure I was still on ice... not wet cement...



Kate even risked falling in a puddle of water to skate in balmy weather, with Zamboni in the background...



Would be great if we had a summer rink like that at Fish Creek! But alas, we have the ice cream truck

     which
is pretty nice too

Its about 74F actually today... which is still pretty 'hot'... did a swim and skate.. or is that skate and swim???
