Wowwowowowow - I am absolutely blown away by this site. I have been in love with Fish Creek since I was 15 - now considerably more mature. I plan our family reunion there every year and the number of FC lovers grows. I consider myself lucky to be able to go every year, and now with this site - I am quite simply wordless. Thank you for sharing and letting others join. I look forward to sharing pictures, memories, stories, meeting you, and continuing the great traditions of our Fish Creek.

I have been going to the ADK park my whole life and finally talked my wife intogoing tent camping. We went to Fish Creek and had the most amazing time this past july 4th (even though there was a chill in the air). Next year we are going for a full week. Thank you for developing this awesome site dedicated to an even better campground!

Good morning dave, I write with tears in my eye's as all the fond memory's of the best camping yrs flash by, this was our ist time in 40 yr's we have not been to fish crk.

I was talking with my mom on the phone and we were talking about fish creek. Friends of their's are camping next year on site 39, I typed in fish creek pond and found your web site. It brings back some great memories for me, what a great web site with all the description and pictures of the camp sites.  Fish creek is by far my favorite place to camp.

Great job on Fish Creek!!! It would be greatly appreciated if you could post some info on Rollins Pond campsites.  I've camped there several times throughout the years, but not for the last 8,  maybe more.  Now I have 6 year old twins and would like to have current info on the campsites before I venture on with them. Any info would be appreciated. I just found the fischreekpond.com web page and think that it is AWESOME.  My husband used to camp at Rollins when he was a child - on a yearly basis.  Now that he has his own family - we too now go to Rollins every year.  My son - who is 7 - wants to live there forever!   (We were just there for the '07 Earth Quake!! :) Anyways - you can add us to the wish list for the detailed camp site list for Rollins.  What you have for Fish Creek is in simple words - unbelievable! Even with dial-up service it is proving worth the wait. I discovered this page by doing a google search on Hicocks - what a wonderful surprise. Again - thank you for making my night - I now know where to go for up to date information!

I really like your fish creek web site. My wife and i and all the kids went there every year. My kids are all grown up and gone now but because of the pics i am going back there in 2008 for a week, probably 2nd week in July. If you guys are there we can put on a international kegger.

What an awesome website! -- The photos of nearly every campsite were wonderful, and helped a pair of old tent campers, who have usually gone to Buck Pond or Meacham Lake, find a perfect camping spot at Fish Creek from the comfort of our own home.  Campgrounds should pay you guys to do this for them!  Many thanks :)

I just wanted to say your site about Fish Creek is great. Ive been camping there since 1965, and are bringing up my kids to continue the tradition. We camp in a classic 1975 Winnebago, and absolutely love the place. Its true, once you taste FC, you never leave. I recognized just about every picture you posted, and was on 117 just last year. We will be there for the first week of July to start our 2007 year of camping. Again, I enjoyed your site, keep it up!

My family and I have a long history of camping at Fish Creek Ponds..  My Grandparents found the campground after their car broke down on their honeymoon..  they began taking their children (my dad, and uncles), and for the past 28 years they have been taking us there..  So for 3 generations we have been enjoying the campground..  Sincerely

Thanks for such wonderful info. I'm impressed to find someone has taken time and effort to inform those of us who have not had the experience of camping at Fish Creek or Rollins Pond.  The person at Fish Creek gave me your website  and said if I wanted to know the REAL DEAL to look at this site. I just stumbled across your site while I was looking at potential campsites at FCP for next weekend.  Great information!  I especially appreciated the hints about which side of the campground gets the best morning sun, wind protection, etc.  We (two other old bats and myself) are looking forward to a couple of nights at FCP, to stretch out an otherwise crummy kayaking summer. My husband found your web site this morning.  We lived our whole lives near Syracuse and Fish Creek Ponds was our family's choice for the best vacation spot for so many years.  We have lived in NC now for a few years.  We have not been to Fish Creek since probably around 1997 or 1998.  After viewing your beautiful collection of photos we are having serious camping withdrawal.  My husband and I have decided to make the drive from NC to NY for the Summer of '06 for a two week camping trip to Fish Creek!!!  I don't know how I will wait that long but we can't wait!  Thank you for posting your photos.  They brought back so many wonderful memories.  We still have all of our camping gear and our screenhouse.  We will have to find a trailer to rent up there because we aren't really interested in tenting for two weeks.  Thanks again for sharing.  Happy camping!

Just wanted to say I loved your website.  I used to camp at Fish Creek a lot in the 60's and have not been back since 1974 and it was a great stroll down memory lane!  We had a group of people that would meet there every year like you do.  It was great fun.  Looks like it's changed a little with a soccer field and no longer has docks at each site.  But not much other than that!  Half way between Rollins Pond and Fish Creek there was a small group camp with rumors about a Big Foot; that still talked about?  We once had a blind bear around the campgrounds.  They had painted his face with a yellow mark to mark him as the blind one.  I have old black and white pictures of back then, nothing fancy like your campers, but one has a large tent on top of a van, and pictures of the campsites showing the docks.  I am not sure what campsite we usually tried to get, but it was someplace around the low 200's.  I really really enjoyed your pictures!  I wish I could get back there someday, I loved that place.  I live in the Rockys now, much different!
